We collect your phone number for account verification, profile information you provide (username, display name, profile photo), and content you create (posts, comments, messages).
Your phone number is used solely for account verification via SMS. Your content is displayed within the Orb platform to other users based on your privacy settings.
If you choose to use the contact discovery feature, phone numbers from your device contacts are uploaded to our secure servers to find friends already on Orb. We compare these numbers against existing user accounts and return matches to you. The uploaded contact numbers are not stored after the lookup, sold, or shared with third parties. You can decline this feature when prompted, or revoke access at any time in your device Settings.
Your data is stored securely on encrypted servers. Media files are stored on AWS S3 with CloudFront CDN.
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting support.
